Karikatur Museum
This museum in Krems spotlights European caricatures of the 20th century. There is a special section on Austrian caricature.

Since the museum opened in 2001 with an exhibition titled “Everything is Caricature - the 20th Century in Drawing” it has been striving to develop a collection of caricatures and cartoons as well as an expert library. Today the museum’s collection comprises some 1000 drawings; the library has works on caricature, drawn satires and critical prints, monographs of drawers and caricaturists, exhibition catalogues and expert magazines.

The Caricature Museum in Krems was designed by the architect Gustav Peichl and forms an integral part of the Krems Art Mile.
