Wien Museum
Wien Museum presents a broad selection of collections and exhibitions including everything from the city’s history to art, from fashion to everyday culture, from the beginnings of settlement to the present.

Using the city of Vienna as example, the Museum explores the general theme of social, cultural and urban change in comparison with other cities. The Wien Museum Karlsplatz presents a mix of artworks and historic collections to illustrate Vienna’s way through the centuries. The main focus is on art from the 19th century, represented through artists like Klimt, Schiele, Gerstl and Schönberg.

In addition to its main building on Karlsplatz and the Hermesvilla, the Museum has several branches that boast all kinds of specialized exhibitions.
