Dorfmuseum Mönchhof
The Dorfmuseum Mönchhof reenacts the past in Seewinkel. A compilation of old houses, workshops, pieces of furniture and tools, give visitors a good idea of how the people used to live, work and celebrate. The open-air museum opened its doors in 1990 and is divided into three different sections which showcase different topics. The first section deals with the struggle for survival, the second with securing of provisions; the third section consists of an idyllic village with a school, an old inn, a movie theater, workshops and much more. At the end of the village, on a hill, there is a church guarding the setting.

The museum was awarded several prizes, among them the Austrian Museum Seal of Quality (2002).
